My name is Tashia. I am the founder of Rock Polish and I specialize in branding in the music industry (a.k.a. the process involved in creating a unique name, image and product in the consumer’s mind). I write for 11 Alive “Where You Live” blogs and for the Examiner as the Atlanta Marketing Examiner.

I began as a music journalist and that allowed me to see many aspects of the music industry. I went from backstage at Snoop Dogg concerts to in front of the the stage photographing Kid Rock concerts. I have a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in business from the University of Central Oklahoma. At Clear Channel Radio, I worked for six radio stations working on projects like presentations, writing and design.

In Atlanta, I work at Rock Polish to apply profit maximizing principles to everything that represents our clients through PR and design.
